Weather Cancellations

In the event of inclement weather, please check cancellations on WWLP Channel 22. This is the only station that will list Bethany closing dues to foul weather.

Stations of the Cross

The Stations of the Cross will be held on every Wednesday evening at 6:45 PM, beginning on March 8th and continuing through the season of Lent.

Reconcilation Mass

A Mass of Reconciliation will be celebrated on March 29th at 7:00 PM, to prepare ourselves for Holy Week. Individual confessions will be available following Mass.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

During the month of March, we will have a period of adoration of the Blessed Sacrament before the start of Sunday morning Masses. This is an opportunity to spend quality time with the Lord and to prepare ourselves for the Holy Eucharist. Remember, before the service, be silent and speak to the Lord. During the service, let the Lord speak to you. After the service, speak to one another.

Easter Lilies

During the season of Lent, we will have a special collection at Lord’s Day services to buy lilies to decorate the chapel for Easter Sunday. Please consider an additional donation to beautify the House of the Lord.

Bethany Cleaning Day

Bethany will be having a cleaning day to prepare the chapel for the sacred celebrations of Holy Week. Date will be announced at church.

Warming Tree

Bethany has resumed its tradition of using the “Warming Tree” to collect scarves, mittens, and hats for children who, due to personal circumstances, live in group children’s homes. Please join us in our effort to provide warmth-giving clothing to children in need by decorating our Warming Tree with your gifts of winter apparel. Thanks to your generosity last year, many children were blessed with your gifts of warmth.

Prayer of Father Lataste

Oh my Jesus, I want to love you. Give yourself to me and grant that I may give myself to you. Make me one with you. May my will be yours. Unite me to you so that I live only in and for you. Grant that I September spend for you all I have received from you, keeping nothing for myself. May I die to all for you, and, bring other to you. Oh my Jesus, many others.

Bethany Food Drive

We continue collecting non-perishable food items for area food pantries. Please bring your donations of canned goods and dry goods to Saturday evening and Sunday morning Masses. “Hunger never takes a vacation.”

Prayer Requests

As a community, we support each other through prayer in communion with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Please let us know of your prayer requests.

Bethany’s Tree of Life – A memorial to your loved ones.

Have the name of a loved one who has gone home to our Lord added to Bethany’s “Tree of Life”, located in the Chapel of Mercy. For details, visit the “Tree of Life” or call us.

Church Supplies

Bethany is always grateful to receive donations of supplies, such as coffee, hot chocolate, dish soap, cleaning supplies, paper towels, paper plates and cups, bathroom tissue, etc. Please place donations in the large basket at the chapel entrance. Thank you!
